Another view of the welded section. Slots for shelf engagement are clearly visible.
Wall Panel System with Adjustable Display: Custom Mobile Table Saw
We make a lot of our own aluminum extrusions by ripping standard profiles. Safety equipment and years of table saw experience required. Frank can cut anything on a table saw. That is a custom mobile base on our saw that is rock solid. The extension table folds up and the outer structures have levelers.
Wall Panel System with Adjustable Display: Fully Fabricated Panels
Three fifths of a full panel are fabricated. The top panel is a separate section and the two bolt together after the top panel is mounted to the wall. There was so much surface welding on these panels we ended up going with liquid paint so we could fill/sand.
Wall Panel System with Adjustable Display: Finished Shelf, Pre-Paint
Here is a finished shelf before paint. Frank had two days in the mortises along the rear edge, but they were perfect of course. It was amazing, we bought two 4’x8’x3/4” acrylic sheets and because our design called for qty 16 shelves at 47 ½” x 11 ½” we had zero waste. That never happens.
